Let’s be honest: most travel blogs aren’t driving bookings. At all.

Travel marketing teams are WASTING TIME on blog posts that drive ZERO bookings.

I've reviewed hundreds of travel blogs and the data is clear - those "10 Best Places to Visit" posts aren't converting. At all.

Here's the reality: 96.55% of blog content gets absolutely no organic traffic from Google. ZERO (per Ahrefs). And with AI search snippets stealing what little visibility remains, it's only getting worse.

Your time is better spent creating content that actually drives revenue:

▪️ Tour/experience pages with DETAILED descriptions
▪️ Destination guides that link directly to bookable products
▪️ Comparison pages showing why your tour/hotel/experience is better

Your marketing resources are finite. Stop chasing vanity metrics like page views and start focusing on pages that actually convert browsers into bookers.

Yes, blog content still matters for E-E-A-T signals and building authority. But if you're trying to drive bookings (which should be your actual goal), you need to shift your content strategy to emphasize middle and bottom-funnel content.
